Ring Of Honor 13th Anniversary PPV Preview, Live Coverage Sunday

After years of having talent stripped from the company, a free agent resurgence has led to a stacked card for Ring of Honor's 13th Anniversary. Samoa Joe, Alberto El Patron, AJ Styles and several members of the Bullet Club will be in the house.

The Bullet Club, led by AJ Styles, is leading many fans to give New Japan Pro Wrestling a try. A combination of NWO and DX with less charisma and more workrate, the group will participate in three matches on the show, including a world tag team title match pitting the Young Bucks against champions ReDRagon. AJ Styles will be taking on ACH, and the combination of Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson will look to make their mark in ROH against Kindom, consisting of Michael Bennett & Matt Taven, as well as the team of Kazarian & Christopher Daniels, known as The Addiction.

Alberto El Patron debuted in ROH recently and got a hero's welcome, as leaving the WWE ended up being the best career move he could make. He's taking on Jay Lethal, who could very well be the best booked wrestler in America today (Pentagon and Lesnar may have some issues with that.) Jay Lethal has been a loud mouth, brash, arrogant Television champion who constantly defends his championship and backs up his actions. His run has been reminiscent to that of Rob Van Dam in ECW, and Alberto El Patron is his biggest test to date.

While the Briscoes still go strong as a team, Jay Briscoe has continued to break out as ROH World Champion. He'll have to defend his title against a hot prospect in Hanson, a physical opponent in Tomaso Ciampa, as well as Michael Elgin. Elgin can still bring it in the ring, but the crowd reactions have cooled considerably for him in recent months after he and ROH tried to work a firing angle on Twitter. This match is going to be fast paced and violent, and not an easy one to keep track of.

Mark Briscoe is in action as well, taking on a likely future WWE Superstar in Moose. Unlike anything else in ROH, Moose brings a combination of size and athleticism that the big companies love, and he's moving up the ROH card at a quick rate. Briscoe will also be at ringside as new friend ODB takes on Maria, who will be joined by Michael Bennett.

Rounding out the card will be former Decade partners Roderick Strong and BJ Whitmer doing battle. Decade and Strong had a huge falling out weeks ago, as Strong was replaced by Page. Its hard to believe that Decade won't play an integral role in this match.

New ROH signee Samoa Joe has also been confirmed for the event. After years away from Ring of Honor, Samoa Joe returns to the company ahead of several other confirmed dates. After rumored offers from WWE and AAA, what will Joe's role be?
