UFC 184 Weigh-Ins, Cyborg Destroys Opponent, Rampage Rips King Mo After Win
- Quinton "Rampage" Jackson had some unkind words for his longtime rival King Mo after he defeated teammate Cheick Kongo at last night's Bellator British Invasion event.
King Mo is a lil b—h,don't know why any promoter will pay him to fight. Keep your head up @kongo4real I know how it is 2 fight a coward.
— Quinton Jackson (@Rampage4real) February 28, 2015
Jackson has long been critical of Mo's methodical, wrestling style. However, 11 of his 15 career wins are by KO or TKO. Mo moved up to heavyweight for the bout with Kongo, and won via split decision.
- Cris "Cyborg" Justino continued her reign of terror in Invicta FC's featherweight division with a 46 second slaughter of Canadian contender Charmaine Tweet at last night's Invicta FC 11. A big punch dropped Tweet early, and Cyborg followed up with violent ground and pound that opened up her opponent and secured a victory.
Cyborg said she would try again to make 135 pounds to build to a superfight with UFC Champion Ronda Rousey. With a severe lack of depth at 145 pounds, there are no big matchups for Cyborg at Featherweight. The UFC has been hesitant to sign her before she makes Bantamweight due to comments former manager Tito Ortiz made saying Cyborg would die if she tried to make 135 pounds.
- The UFC 184 weigh ins went off without a hitch last night in Los Angeles. The only hiccup was Mark Munoz, who originally came in overweight. He came back and made the weight later, and will not forfeit any of his purse.
