WWE 2K15 "Hall Of Pain" DLC Available, WWE Stock Continues To Rise, Stock Overbought?, Network
- 2K Sports sent us the following: 2K today announced availability of the second addition to WWE 2K15's story-driven 2K Showcase ? Hall of Pain ? which chronicles the history of WWE Superstar Mark Henry and includes eight notable opponents across nine matches in his storied career. The content lets fans experience Mark Henry's rise to dominance from 2011-2013, including high profile matches against Kane and The Great Khali, a broken ring during a match with Big Show at Vengeance in 2011 and a victory over Randy Orton at Night of Champions in 2011 to win the World Heavyweight Championship. - As of this writing, WWE stock is at $17.33, up another 4.52% today. Zacks has an article here noting that the stock is in overbought territory with an RSI (Relative Strength Index) value of 85.6. The Relative Strength Index is a technical indicator used to compare the average gains and losses of a stock based on the closing prices during a trading period. The article also noted that there has been "some decidedly negative earnings estimate revisions in World Wrestling Entertainment's stock as of late."
- Forbes has an article here looking at the success of the WWE Network and notes that the "future is definitely not now" in choosing an over-the-top distribution model over traditional television rights due to the high rights fees. They note that "the future is now, but the future is not television or digital. The future is television and digital."
