John Cena Wanted To Turn Heel Five Years Ago?, Cena To Be Inducted Into College Hall Of Fame

- Boston rap artist Esoteric appeared on The Asked Show this week to promote his upcoming Czarface 2 album. During the interview, which you can watch above, Esoteric was asked about his longtime friendship with John Cena. Esoteric, who appeared on Cena's rap album in 2005, mentioned that John Cena fought for a heel turn about 5 years ago. Esoteric says he helped Cena write the angle, which would have seen Cena return to his "Dr. of Thuganomics" battle rap persona. However, the angle was shot down by WWE management. Esoteric also claims to have written several of the battle raps John Cena used in 2002 – 2003, including Cena's first ever rap, and his Undertaker disses.

- Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts announced that Cen is one of five inductees who will be enshrined into the Springfield College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 18. In 1998, Cena was one of three captains on the football team that was 9-2 and advanced to play in the NCAA Division III Championship. At season's end, the accolades rolled in for the senior, as he was named a Hewlett-Packard Division III First Team All-American, a Football Gazette All-American, an ECAC New England/Northeast Division III All Star, and a New England Football Writers DII/DIII All Star. Cena graduated from Springfield College in 1999.
