Kevin Owens Wrestling At This Week's WWE NXT Live Event?, More On WWE's New Deal With Tapout

- While WWE NXT Champion Kevin Owens is still recovering from knee surgery, an impression was given that he could still defend against Finn Balor at this weekend's NXT live event in San Jose, if he's ready. It would be very early for a return and some close to Owens say it's unlikely he can be ready this week but it's not unheard of for people to return quickly from the arthroscopic knee surgery that he had. WWE has confirmed that Owens and Sami Zayn, who is also injured, will still appear at the NXT live event in San Jose this week.

- As noted earlier, WWE announced a new deal with Tapout to release a fitness lifestyle band of clothing. Tapout will be the official fitness and training partner brand of apparel for WWE. WWE talents will be seen wearing Tapout shirts on TV and at other appearances while everyone at the WWE Performance Center, including talents, coaches and staff, will also be asked to wear Tapout gear.
