Roman Reigns On If Brock Lesnar Re-Signing With WWE Affects Him, Working As A Babyface, More

As noted earlier, Roman Reigns took part in a media day this past Friday in San Francisco. During the event, I asked Reigns about WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar re-signing with WWE last week.

"I think it's great. It doesn't affect anything for me, it really doesn't. As long as he shows up, everything will be fine. As long as we go and get into our fight, it will be fine. In the overall scheme, I think it's great, I really do. I think Brock Lesnar belongs in WWE. He's been a part of the WWE for a long time, he's done a lot of great things for us. I think it's a great opportunity for the WWE to lock down a great performer. I think it's good for Brock and his family, so hopefully it secures his future even more."

I also asked Reigns if he preferred working as a babyface or a heel, and if there was more pressure working as a face.

"I think we're beyond that, I think it's 2015 now. This isn't the 70s and 80s anymore where it's like, 'oh, this is a clear cut good guy.' I'm not a good guy, I'm THE guy. There's moments when people will think you're a good guy or bad guy, but really I'm just me. I can't be anything I'm not, so I don't try to be that. If I come across as a good guy to some people, that's great. If people want to boo me because I come off like a bad guy to them, that's their opinion and I'm proud to let everyone have their opinion on me as long as I stay true to myself and continue to do my thing. For me, it's important to go out there, do my thing and stay true to myself."
