Son Of A WWE Hall Of Famer Still With WWE?
An account that appears to be the real account of former WWE developmental talent Richie Steamboat, son of WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat, has recent tweets calling out NXT Champion Kevin Owens and praising Seth Rollins, seen below.
Steamboat hasn't wrestled since October 2012 due to back issues that were believed to be career-ending. It was reported back in 2013 that Steamboat was released by WWE but that report was shot down and PWInsider recently speculated that he could still be signed.
We've reached out to get confirmation on Steamboat's status with the company as well as the tweets and will keep you updated. Below are the tweets:
When I get back to @WWENXT and I'm fully healthy I'm coming for the World Championship...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...Mr. @FightOwensFight ...

Very proud of @WWERollins . He's came a long way in this company from starting at the good ole FCW to NXT and now to WWE. Proud of him.
