Vince Russo Backs Out Of Ring Return, Bill DeMott Wants To Tell His Side, Kevin Owens Update
- According to people who have spoke with former WWE NXT head trainer Bill DeMott since he left the company a few weeks back, he does want to talk and give his side of things but he's been asked to stay quiet due to legal reasons. As we've noted, WWE has been expecting lawsuits to come out of the DeMott controversies so they're being careful not to admit to anything.
- Regarding WWE NXT Champion Kevin Owens undergoing knee surgery last week to repair a torn meniscus, you're usually out of action for 6-7 weeks after that operation but WWE officials are expecting Owens back in the ring in 4-6 weeks, as noted. Owens has had bad knees for years so this could have been just an operation to clean the knee out without having major surgery that would put him out of the ring for at least 6 months.
- Vince Russo was scheduled to wrestle in a six-man match for a UK indie promotion this past weekend but backed out a few days before he was scheduled to fly out. Russo cited an illness for why he was backing out.
