Dana White On Jon Jones' Reaction To Being Stripped Of Title, DC's Advice, UFC Signs "Karate Hottie"

- The UFC stripping Jon Jones of the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship by surprise, but perhaps none more than Jones himself. UFC President Dana White appeared on UFC Tonight to talk about the move, and said that Jones wasn't happy about the choice.

"He wasn't happy. He was upset," said Dana White. "This is the first time we've ever done it. Guys have been cut for different reasons. He should focus on his pending legal matter"

- Jones' rival Daniel Cormier is now pegged to replace Jones on UFC 187, taking on Anthony "Rumble" Johnson for the UFC Light Heavyweight title. Cormier refused to kick Jones while he was down, despite their bitter feud.

"It's not good. You don't kick a guy when he's down. It was disappointing. All the stuff Jon gets in to is disappointing. He has the world at his fingertips and he can't get out of his own way," said Cormier. "Just get it together. A lot of people look up to you and a lot people who want to see him succeed. I'll be waiting on the other side with my championship and he can challenge me for it."

- UFC continues to add to their new 115-pound women's strawweight division, as the company has signed former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion "Karate Hottie" Michelle Waterson. The 29-year old Waterson boasts a 12-4 pro record and trains out of Jackson-Winklejohn in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
