Bryan was removed from WWE's European tour two weeks ago after speculation of several injuries. The WWE has been tight lipped on the manner and little news has filtered in about his injury or how long he could be out. The company did say that the title match tonight hinged on his health.
Bryan missed nearly 8 months last year due to issues with his neck and elbow before returning to the company in January. His choice of recovery was documented on the Total Divas reality show, in which he's often featured on alongside wife Brie Bella.
Daniel Bryan also posted an Instagram photo earlier, insinuating he wasn't with his wife, who is currently in Chicago for the show.
Alternate plans for Bad News Barrett have been announced, as he'll take on Neville tonight. The WWE hasn't made a statement regarding the future of the Intercontinental championship. We'll provide you with updates as they arrive.
