Jon Jones Released From Jail, Still Plans To Fight At UFC 187, Mugshot And Arrest Warrant Revealed

Jon Jones was released from jail early this morning, after turning himself in to Albuquerque police after being suspected of a hit-and-run accident.

Jones' bail was set at $2,500 which was made shortly after being booked. A news crew caught up to Jones as he was being released from the facility, but he didn't offer any comment. He'll appear in court today.

Police were searching for Jones after he allegedly fled a three-car accident Sunday morning which left a pregnant woman with a broken arm. Marijuana was found in a rental car at the scene, along with documentation with Jones' name on it. He was identified by an off-duty police officer, who happened to be a UFC fan.

Jones' attorney stated that Jones wants to return to training. Jones, the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, is booked to defend his title against Anthony "Rumble" Johnson at UFC 187.

"He wants to get down to training for this big fight he has," Jones' attorney told a local news crew. "Jon is a great guy, I know he's taking this very seriously."
