Jon Jones To Heavyweight Update, UFC On Fox 15 Bonuses, Who Gets Next Middleweight Shot?

- During a Google Hangout with Andrei Arlovski this week, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones pumped the brakes on talks of him moving to heavyweight.

"Honestly, probably not," Jones said of the possible move. "As I get older I'm maturing a lot more. My weight cuts are becoming a lot more easy. I'm learning how to eat better. I'll probably be at light heavyweight for a long time. I'll probably go to heavyweight for one or two super fights and then get back down to light heavyweight."

- The talk coming out of UFC on Fox 15 is that Luke Rockhold is likely to get the next Middleweight Championship fight over #1-ranked Jacare Souza. Current champion Chris Weidman is currently slated to defend the title next month at UFC 187.

Souza defeated last minute replacement Chris Camozzi in short order after original opponent Yoel Romero pulled out due to injury. Rockhold dominated former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida at the event, and called out Chris Weidman for later this year at Madison Square Garden.

Rockhold said he's going to stay in shape and be prepared to step in for Weidman or Belfort in the event of the injury, and suggested Jacare do the same.

- Speaking of UFC on Fox 15, Gian Villante vs. Corey Anderson took home $50,000 for the evening's fight of the night. Luke Rockhold and Max Holloway also received $50,000 performance bonuses, but UFC President Dana White said several performers on the card would be paid bonus money.
