The two follow the code of honor, and quickly go into a chain wrestling series. Liger locks on the surfboard, but Lethal gets to the ropes. Back from the break, Lethal has things going his way with a couple of elbows, but can't get the pinfall. He goes up top for the flying elbow drop, but Liger gets his feet up. The two trade strikes, with Liger coming out the better with a big palm strike and Frankensteiner before another commercial.
We're back again, and Liger eats knees and a Lethal Combination, which only gets a two count. Liger rolls out of the ring and hits a brainbuster on the floor when Lethal followed him out.
