Taryn Terrell Speaks About TNA Pay Rumors
Over the past several weeks, rumors have run rampant regarding TNA Wrestling having issues with pay. Late pay to the staff, absent pay to the production staff, and short pay have left a cloud looming over the brand.
I had the opportunity to speak to TNA Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell this week about those rumors. She sounded genuinely surprised to hear this, reacting in a manner that sounded like she'd not even heard rumblings of such a situation.
"Oh, I have no idea. I've always been paid," said Terrell. "I think a lot of the time there's a lot of things out on the internet and some of it's true and some of it's not. TNA has always been very good to me, and I've never had any complaints as far as that's concerned."
It's worth noting that all of the talent we've spoken to of late have proclaimed that they've been paid on time. It appears as if the pay issue is one that staff and production are dealing with, as opposed to talent. Taz did note that he was paid late by the company, and the situation was later rectified.
We'll have more from our interview with Taryn Terrell throughout the weekend, including her record-breaking championship reign, working with her ex-husband Drew Galloway, and TNA running a Knockouts based show this Friday.
