WWE Releases Two NXT Wrestlers
WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT performers Brian Reid (a/k/a Tony Briggs) and C Denzel Freeman. Both individuals announced Friday on Twitter that they were parting ways with the sports-entertainment organization.
Freeman, an amateur wrestler from the University of the Cumberlands, began training at the WWE Performance Center late last year. He never competed in a match before a live crowd. He stated:
I didn't make it. WWE contract, terminated. Thanks for the fun, but it's time to move on. One, final #Blaze

Briggs, a 6-foot-2, 275-pound wrestler from California, signed with WWE in late 2013. He infrequently wrestled at NXT live events, and was squashed in his lone matches on television.
I would to thank #WWE and #NXT for my wonderful experience with the company. I learned nothing but amazing and priceless lessons and...
