WWE Superstars Results (4/25): Jack Swagger Vs. Bad News Barrett, Tag Team Champions In Action

Welcome to Wrestling Inc's live coverage of Smackdown! Today we're treated to a match between Bad News Barrett and Jack Swagger, two guys the WWE expected to be flag bearers of their brand years ago. Also, we'll see Tyson Kidd & Cesaro take on Los Matadores.

Jack Swagger vs. Bad News Barrett

Jack Swagger is still without Zeb Coulter, which is an American tragedy. Swagger starts out aggressive, and drops Barrett with a big shoulderblock. Barrett counters by sending Swagger tumbling from the ring and kicks him off the apron.

Barrett follows Swagger outside, and bounces his head off the apron before rolling him back in. Winds of Change off the ropes gets a two count, but Swagger gets his shoulder up. Barrett sets up for the Bull Hammer, but ends up in the Patriot Lock.

Barrett gets to the ropes after a few seconds, and sends Swagger outside again. Barrett is in a bad way, but lands the Bull Hammer on a charging Swagger for the win.

Winner: Bad News Barrett via pinfall (Bull Hammer)

Tyson Kidd & Cesaro vs. Los Matadores (w/ El Torito)

Matadores come out aggressive early, and Diego holds Tyson Kidd up for a really nice looking delayed vertical suplex that only gets two. A tag to Fernando results in a huracanrana and an arm drag that is transitioned into an old fashioned arm bar.

Cesaro gets the tag, but so does Diego, who runs wild with back elbows and chops. He hits the handstand head scissors out of the corner and the springboard Whisper in the Wind. Kidd kicks Diego in the head and Cesaro rolls him up for the pin while holding the tights.

Winners: Cesaro & Kidd via pinfall

That's it for Superstars today. It's worth noting that despite working as heels, Cesaro & Kidd worked out of the corner generally designated for babyfaces during this match.
