Billy Corgan To Be At This Week's Live TNA Impact

According to PWInsider, Smashing Pumpkins frontman and new TNA creative member Billy Corgan will be at this week's live episode of Impact. This will be the company's first live episode of Impact in several months.

Corgan was brought on as a member of creative last week, and brought the company more mainstream coverage than anything they've seen in the last couple of years.

Corgan left Resistance Pro late last year, after founding the company in 2011. Corgan was also briefly linked to ECW, and Paul Heyman once proposed that he purchase ten percent of the company. That deal didn't go anywhere because Heyman was asking for too much money, according to Corgan.

His involvement with wrestling didn't end there, as AMC was set to produce an unscripted show about Resistance Pro. The show was canceled before it got much of a chance to start when AMC chose to eliminate most of its scripted programming.

Corgan will be participating in a media conference call this week to discuss his role in TNA.
