CM Punk Responds To Angry Fan, Says He Hopes Rusev Wins His "I Quit" Match
Former WWE Champion and current UFC Fighter CM Punk has long been outspoken, particularly towards scorned fans. Of late he's taken a seemingly nicer approach, albeit in a sarcastic manner.
A fan tweeted Punk today, asking him if he thought Rusev would win his upcoming "I Quit" match against John Cena at Payback. The fan said he wanted to ask Punk since he "knew a lot about quitting." It's worth noting that CM Punk stated last year that the WWE fired him, as opposed to him quitting.
CM Punk responded accordingly, saying he hoped Rusev won the match, and that he hoped the fan lived a peaceful life. He also corrected the fan's spelling error. Last week, Punk also addressed fans that said they "used to look up to him," and that called him "fake." You can see some of the interactions below.
