CM Punk-WWE Shop Update, WWE Hall Of Famer Asks WWE For Retirement Match, Superstar Challenges Celeb
- WWE Superstar Stardust called out Arrow's Stephen Amell in a video on WWE's YouTube tonight. Amell was in attendance at tonight's Raw, and could be seen arguing with Stardust throughout his match. You can see video of Stardust's challenge above
- We had several fans tweet us mentioning the "CM Punk-CM Junk" story about WWEShop earlier. A couple of people were speculating that Colt Cobana was getting the same treatment, as searching his name got unusual term suggestions too.
For what it's worth, when searching almost any name not associated with WWE history, it suggests something off the wall. For example, when I search my own name, "Sean Ross Sapp," it will instead suggest I search "Dean Ross Sale." When that is searched, no items turn up. It seems as if any name that doesn't have merchandise in the shop will do this.
- WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash took to Twitter tonight, saying he would like a real retirement match from WWE. He noted that he'd like to do a build up on the WWE Network, leading up to the match itself, similar to the 24/7 programs HBO does for boxing. He then asked WWE to "put him out of his misery."
Kevin Nash last competed for the WWE in January 2014 at the Royal Rumble, where he only lasted 36 seconds before being eliminated by Roman Reigns. Nash's last singles match was his infamous sledgehammer ladder match with Triple H at TLC 2011. You can see Nash's tweet below:
Would love to do a real retirement match. With a build up on the Network training, like a 24/7 HBO deal. WWE put me out of my misery
