ESPN Releases Tyler Breeze Documentary Short In Advance Of WWE E:60 Special

ESPN has released a ten minute "extra" in advance of tonight's E:60 documentary about the WWE Performance Center and the developmental system in general. The short focuses on Matt Clement's journey from starting in developmental as Matt Dalton in FCW to becoming Tyler Breeze in NXT, a change he made when he was told he'd be cut if he didn't come up with a new persona.

Some of the highlights of the short include:

* Clement writing down Tyler Breeze promo ideas and practicing them.

* A rehearsal of the Tyler Breeze entrance with Billy Gunn, Dusty Rhodes, and others looking on giving advice. Dusty tells him to "Use it all" (meaning all of the stage) and to "Be like Liberace" even though "you're a cowboy." The latter seems to be an instruction not to worry about making the character/entrance too effeminate.

* Triple H is cited as the person who came up with the "selfie" part of the gimmick, as Clement had been practicing with a hand mirror for months.

* Gunn explains it takes some people more time to find their niche, citing his own years-long transition from cowboy to "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn as an example, but he assures the audience that's OK, because it's what developmental is for.

* Triple H jokes with Bill DeMott hat Breeze "is basically pretending to be Billy [Gunn]."

The E:60 documentary premieres tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
