Floyd Mayweather And Manny Pacquiao Weigh In, Preview Video, UFC President Works As Boxing Media
- The weigh ins for the big fight are in the books and the fighters are ready to go for Saturday's big card. Manny Pacquiao hit the scales first, weighing in at an even 145 pounds. Floyd Mayweather came in at 146 pounds to a chorus of boos. It was also said Pacquiao had a big lunch ahead of weigh ins. You can see the full video above.
- UFC President Dana White couldn't avoid the hype of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao either, despite his often bitter rivalry with aging boxing promoter Bob Arum. Dana White actually worked as media with Yahoo Sports alongside longtime journalist Kevin Iole for the big fight.
White actually worked as a boxing trainer prior to his UFC days, training high level amateur fighters. White also had a short-lived boxing reality show titled "The Fighters". The program aired in Discovery before being canceled.
- The huge Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight is tomorrow night, and HBO Boxing has released a full, hour long presentation titled Mayweather/Pacquiao: At Last. The show displays the insane media surrounding the fight, and the long build it took to get to make the fight actually happen.
