Ronda Rousey Speaks About WWE Future
Ronda Rousey appeared on the Fight Network today to speak to John Pollock about her new book, My Fight/Your Fights. During the interview, Pollock asked her about her future plans involving WWE following her much publicized WrestleMania appearance.
Pollock noted that he interviewed UFC President Dana White shortly after WrestleMania, and White pretty much shut the door on a WWE return for the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. This time, Pollock asked Rousey directly what her plans entailed.
"I don't know. I have so much going on that you never really know. The foreseeable future is all planned out with other things," Rousey said.
When elaborating, Rousey said an unnamed WWE legend offered thoughts on the situation that ended up sticking with Rousey.
"One of the legends in the back that I met told me something very interesting," Rousey explained. "He said you never retire from wrestling, you just step away for a while and then it draws you back sometime later. Now that I've started, it's apparently impossible to retire. Some day I will find my way back there. I don't know how or when, but I know it's going to happen."
