- Speaking of UFC 187 and Cerrone, he was asked about Jon Jones, and trying to stay level headed when situations get heated. MMA Junkie reported that Cerrone spoke about an incident where he got clocked at Whole Foods.
"I got punched in the mouth at a Whole Foods, (it) knocked the glasses off my head," Cerrone told reporters. "I was texting on my phone and walking across the crosswalk, me and (his fiancee). The guy's honking. She's like, 'You know that guy?' I'm like, 'I don't know who that guy is.' I just didn't pay any attention and went to my car. They come rolling over, running their mouths. And dude just smoked me and blew my glasses off my face. I was f-c-king livid, man. Seeing fire in my eyes."
- This week's UFC rankings didn't see much of a shakeup after UFC Fight Night 66. Frankie Edgar appeared on the pound-for-pound list at 14, while Cain Velasquez inched ahead of Ronda Rousey to take the number 4 spot. Neil Magny also moved up to #13 in the welterweight rankings after logging his seventh straight win in the UFC.
