WWE Seamster Comments On NXT Injury, US Marine Talks About His Goals In WWE, Layla, Brad Maddox
- Brad Maddox and Layla are on the road with the main roster this weekend. Maddox lost to Jey Uso in Utica, New York last night while Layla and Alicia Fox lost to Emma and Charlotte on the same show.
- WWE's website recently spoke with new NXT recruit Kenneth Crawford, a US Marine who scored a perfect 300 on the Marines' physical fitness test. Crawford also grew up a big fan of Owen Hart, The Godfather, The Rock, Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero and others. He commented on his goals in WWE:
"I want to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The title has so much history. By having that, it means the company has trust in you. When the company has invested in you to be the No. 1 man, it's on you to rise to that level or continue doing what you're doing. Another goal is just to be as entertaining in every aspect [of sports-entertainment] as possible, whether it's on the mic, on commentary, in the ring, attire, presentation, everything. I want to be the best example in the company."
- We noted before that indie wrestler Mikaze, who has been hired as WWE's new seamster and is the fiance of NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks, appeared to suffer an injury at Thursday's NXT tapings as his tag match with Jason Jordan vs. The Vaudevillians was stopped. Mikaze tweeted the following update on Saturday:
Just a heads up y'all. Got knocked loopy at the tapings on Thursday, but I'm fine now. Thank you for the well wishes #donttrythisathome
