WWE SmackDown Results (5/7): WWE Title Contract Signing, Neville, Dolph Ziggler, New Day In Action

Welcome to our WrestlingINC.com Smackdown coverage. Tonight we'll see a contract signing for the big Fatal 4-Way title match at WWE Payback!

Jerry "The King" Lawler is in the ring talking about the King of the Ring. He brings out King Barrett, who says he's the only King in the WWE. He tries to make Lawler say "All hail King Barrett," but no dice. He sets up for the Bull Hammer, but Dolph Ziggler interrupts him.

Dolph Ziggler vs. King Barrett

Barrett is running things early, but Ziggler hits a dropkick that sends the King reeling to the outside as we cut to a commercial break. We come back to Ziggler missing a splash in the corner, and Barrett starts working over his back and neck. Winds of Change gets two before Ziggler kicks out.

Ziggler starts to turn things around, but Sheamus runs in the ring to cause a DQ.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler via DQ

Neville rushes out to make the save, and sends the heels outside the ring. The fans chant for Neville, and we have a tag team match, playa.

Neville & Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus & King Barrett

We come back to Barrett and Sheamus beating down Neville, who needs a tag badly. Barrett lands a huge boot to Neville's face and makes the tag. Sheamus lands his clubbing blows, but Neville sends Sheamus into the ring post.

Ziggler gets the tag and beats the hell out of Barrett before knocking Sheamus off the apron. The big DDT from Ziggler gets a 2 count, and a superkick can't get the job done either. Neville dives to the outside on Sheamus, and knocks Barrett's feet off the ropes as he tries to cheat Ziggler. Dolph hits the Zig Zag for the pin.

Winners: Dolph Ziggler & Neville via pinfall (Zig Zag)

- Dean Ambrose is in the back being interviewed. He says he doesn't like rules or authority. He's looking forward to the contract signing.

Luke Harper vs. Fandango

Harper mocks the Fandango dance and blasts him in the face with a big boot. Fandango fights back with a spin kick and an elbow before landing a tornado DDT. Harper slams him off the top rope and hits a superkick before pinning him following a discus clothesline.

Winner: Luke Harper via pinfall (discus clothesline)

Erick Rowan's music hits and he gets face to face with Harper. He hits a full nelson slam and leaves his sheep mask for Harper.

- Lana is in the ring smiling, and the crowd is cheering for her. She thanks the crowd and says to not cheer her because it angers Rusev. He comes out and sends her to the back, before telling John Cena that all of his wins were a fluke. He says Payback will be their final battle.

- Roman Reigns says he hates Rollins and Orton, but he likes Dean Ambrose. He knows Ambrose will do whatever it takes to win, so will he.

New Day vs. Cesaro, Kidd & Ryback (w/ Natalya)

Kofi Kingston kicks at Ryback early, and follows up with a couple of elbows before being dropped by the big guy. Kidd gets a tag, as he and Ryback hit an inverted atomic drop/dropkick. Woods and Cesaro are in the ring, and Woods walks right into a clothesline.

Cesaro, Kidd and Ryback hit suplexes in stereo, and then they stomp Woods along with the "New Day sucks" chants. Kidd and Cesaro hit dives to the outside as Ryback scores with a big clothesline. Big E runs Kidd into the barricade and apron as we cut to commercial.

We come back to Big E tossing Kidd around the ring. Ryback and Cesaro come in and clean house, before Big E stops a Cesaro Swing. Cesaro and Kidd land an assisted elbow drop, but Big E breaks the count. The match breaks down until Bray Wyatt's theme hits. The faces are distracted and Kofi rolls up Kidd.

Winners: New Day via pinfall

- We get a commercial break

Naomi (w/ Tamina) vs. Emma

Naomi attacks first, but Emma turns things around and gets just a one count off of a dropkick. Naomi boots Emma in the face and bullies her around the ring. A big dropkick from Naomi gets two, and she's not happy.

Emma gets a couple of quick two counts before Naomi gets a backslide for a two count of her own. Rearview, and Emma is done.

Winner: Naomi via pinfall (Rearview)

After the match Naomi and Tamina attack Emma.

- Seth Rollins is with Renee Young. He starts going off about Kane, talking about how much smarter he is. He says the future is now.

Lucha Dragons vs. Los Matadores (w/ El Torito)

We get some back and forth action until Diego gets the tag and hits a backbreaker on Sin Cara for a two count. A sloppy armdrag sends Diego outside, and Sin Cara gets knocked outside trying to emulate the Matadores handstand. Torito hits a senton to Sin Cara as we go to commercial.

We come back to see Kalisto land a handspring kick as Sin Cara botches a dive to the outside. Either way, Kalisto and Sin Cara win right after with a cradle.

Winners: Lucha Dragons via pinfall

One of the Matadores pushes Torito down after the match.

- Kane is in the ring for the Payback WWE Title match contract signing. The three challengers are brought out, but Seth Rollins stays on the ramp with J&J. Reigns signs, and Ambrose threatens to drag Rollins to the ring. Rollins says Kane has the authority to sign the contract for him, so he'll do that instead.

Mercury gets the contract. Rollins says that Reigns signs his name better than he wrestles, and says Dean used to say the only because of his dad. Kane and Rollins start arguing after he signs. While they argue, Ambrose sets up the table in the corner. The heels catch him and he says "We all know how this is gonna end, I call dibs on the table." He then rolls Mercury up the table and all hell breaks loose. Dives, Superman punches, RKOs an flying knees leave only Rollins standing to close the show.
