Big Show On His WWE Retirement, Ryback, The Miz Not Deserving A Title Shot At Battleground, More
As seen above, this week's sitdown interview with Michael Cole features Big Show. Below are highlights:
* Cole asks about facing The Miz and WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback at Battleground. Big Show laughs at Miz being in the match and says the best thing he can do is hide somewhere and pray he doesn't get caught between Show and Ryback. Show says Miz has no business being in this match.
* Cole talks about Ryback's long journey to the Intercontinental Title and says people believe Ryback is hungrier than Big Show. Show says Ryback thinks he's hungry but has no idea what it takes to compete at this level. Show talks about the prestige of the IC Title and says Ryback has no business holding it.
* Cole says some people believe it's time for Show to move on and brings up the "please retire" chants that fans have been doing lately. Show says it doesn't get under his skin, it amuses him. Show says he's not going to retire and nobody can make him retire. Show says he's still dominating and still making money so he will never retire.
* Show mocks Ryback's story about his parents not being together for 15 years and says he doesn't care. Show wonders why Ryback wants to endear himself to the WWE Universe and calls him a fraud. Show says Ryback doesn't belong in WWE and he will expose him for what he is. He calls Ryback a popular flash in the pan. Show says he's more of what's important and the only big guy in WWE.
* Show says Ryback got lucky before and doesn't stand a chance at Battleground. Show says he's been here for 20 years and won't let Ryback get away without payback or retribution. Show goes on about being on top for 20 years and says he's lasted at the top because he has friends, very close friends – friends that are at the top.
