Brock Lesnar's UFC Record Intact, UFC 188 Bonuses, Fighter Vomits During Post-Fight Interview

- We mentioned last night that Cain Velasquez's loss helped sustain a UFC Championship record for Brock Lesnar. Thus far, no UFC Heavyweight champion has been able to defend their championship successfully more than twice. Velasquez shares the record with Lesnar, Randy Couture and Tim Sylvia, who all defended their title twice in a row.

Lesnar also still holds the distinction of being the only man in UFC history to unify an interim and regular championship twice. Werdum became the first interim champion to defeat the standard UFC champion as well.

- Speaking of Werdum, the 37-year old earned a Performance of the Night for his impressive victory over the dominant Velasquez. The other Performance of the Night bonus of $50,000 went to Patrick Williams for his 23 second submission victory over Alejandro Perez. Yair Rodriguez and Charles Rosa also earned $50,000 for Fight of the Night Honors.

- Rodriguez also earned his place in MMA infamy during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. A dazed Rodriguez said "Sorry guys, I'm so tired" after his victory, and then vomited all over himself, A first in a UFC cage.
