- Speaking of Cain Velasquez, UFC Heavyweight Ben Rothwell had some harsh words for the UFC Heavyweight Champion. Rothwell insinuated on this week's episode of the MMA Hour that he thinks Cain Velasquez is on PED's, and that when advanced drug testing starts on July 1 he won't perform the same.
"Let's see what happens after July 1, when the advance testing starts kicking in," Rothwell said. "Let's see if (Cain is) still fighting the same way he has. I doubt it. I'm not implying anything, what I'm just saying, I don't believe every division is going to look the same after July 1st. If anyone takes offense to that, maybe they ought to look at themselves and look at their problems."
- Also on the topic of PED's, Bellator fighter and former Marinae Mike Richman tested positive for PED's. The substance wasn't specified, but he's been suspended for a whopping two years and fined $2,500 as athletic commissions ramp up punishments. Richman also came in way overweight and lost his Bellator 137 fight against Eduardo Dantas.
