Jake "The Snake" Roberts Announces Comeback, Eerily Cuts Promo On Dusty Rhodes Before His Death

"I feel absolutely awesome, so I might as well announce that I'm coming back. I gotta do it again. There's no way to walk away from something you love. I'll be 60 and I feel better than when I was 40. Being sober helps a lot. DDP Yoga helped tremendously. He saved my life," Roberts said.

Roberts, who looked better than he has in decades, also mentioned that the movie he's been working on for a couple of years is coming out soon.

"We've got the movie coming out, The Resurrection of Jake "The Snake" Roberts. We did the film festivals and it did really well. When Larry King interviews you, that's second only to Bill Apter Interviewing you," Roberts said.

Roberts also said that he's wrote a book that currently clocks in at 600 pages, and will cover his career up until WWE. Roberts spoke to fans that may be battling alcohol and substance abuse issues, and told them that there is a way out. Roberts also noted that his daughter lives with him and handles his bookings, and that he's doing comedy in the form of telling road stories.

The interview, filmed before Dusty Rhodes death, features Roberts cutting an impromptu promo on "The American Dream" towards the end.

"Dusty this isn't a dream, it's a nightmare. Bring what you want, bring the fans if you want. I'll turn your dream into the worst thing you could imagine. How long will it take? It's going to take a while because I'm going to enjoy it. You won't enjoy it, the fans won't enjoy it, but Jake "The Snake" Roberts, it'll make me feel real good," Roberts said in the hypothetical promo.
