Media For CM Punk Possibly Pushing Back UFC Fight, Dana White On Punk's Debut, More Punk News

- FOX Sports has an article here about CM Punk appearing at the Chicago Blackhawks' Stanley Cup parade yesterday. They noted that he appeared to have had a blast at the event.

- FOX Sports also posted an article about Punk appearing on the Anik and Florian podcast and talking about possibly delaying his UFC debut, that we mentioned earlier this week.

"I'm learning a lot every day. I hear people saying training for a fight is harder than the actual fight," Punk said. "If that's true, then once I step in the Octagon, I will have no problem whatsoever. ... I know Duke has told me, and I think he's been public with it, that he would like me for a full 12 months before he'd sign off on me fighting.

"I think a lot of people are antsy. There's people on Twitter saying, 'Oh, you're never gonna fight.' This was just announced in what, November, December? I've been training full time for like six months. As bad as I have the itch to get in there, I want to be as prepared as possible. I wouldn't be upset if it got pushed to 2016."

- Yet another story from FOX Sports at this link about CM Punk and UFC President Dana White commenting on his debut during a Periscope Q&A session today. White said that Punk will make his UFC debut when he's ready.

"CM Punk is training hard, he's getting a lot of respect from fighters and trainers in the business," White said. "He's going to let me know when he's ready."

- In the final bit of Punk news, he confirmed on Twitter that he will be at UFC Fight Week next month:
