Rock Returning To His First Magazine Cover, Batista Movie Moved, More Good News For San Andreas

- We noted last week that the horror-dark comedy film L.A. Slasher, directed by Martin Owen and featuring Dave Baustista, will receive a North American theatrical release in select AMC Theatres. The movie has been moved back two weeks and will release on June 26th. The film offers a tongue-in-cheek review of reality TV, and the undue admiration for people who are famous for simply being famous. Other stars that appear in the film include Danny Trejo, Mischa Barton, Andy Dick, Eric Roberts, Tori Black, Brooke Hogan, Marisa Lauren and Drake Bell, amongst others. You can check out the trailer for the movie in the video above.

- As if things haven't been going well enough for The Rock's latest flick, San Andreas, it turns out the the numbers reported by Warner Bros. last Sunday were actually a little low. They reported that San Andreas opened to $53.2 million domestically last weekend and took in another $60 million overseas, bringing its worldwide cume to $113.2 million. The final numbers saw the movie take in $54.59 million last weekend domestically, and $63.9M overseas to bring its total take to $118.5 million. The movie was made on a $110 million budget.

- As noted, The Rock's new show Ballers premieres on HBO on Sunday, June 21st at 10 PM. The Rock will be appearing on the cover of TV Guide, and he noted that it was his first mainstream magazine cover in 1999:
