TNA Statement On Impact Wrestling Switching Nights, Former Star Returns To The Company
TNA Wrestling sent out a press release today, noting their move to Wednesdays on Destination America, as well as the new time slot for viewers on the west coast. The release also touted the return of "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero, who was last seen in TNA in 2012. Dinero will be joining announcer Josh Mathews in the commentary booth.
The show will be preceded by Ring of Honor's debut on Destination America, a program that features several matches from the company's joint shows with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Wrestling Inc will have live coverage of both programs tonight. You can read the press release TNA sent below.
"Tonight a new action-packed episode of IMPACT WRESTLING premieres on its new night, Wednesdays at 9 ET/8 CT on Destination America.
The premiere time slot for IMPACT WRESTLING will remain at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. The encore presentation of IMPACT WRESTLING for the west coast will now broadcast at 9 p.m. PT, making both the east coast and west coast broadcasts of IMPACT WRESTLING at 9 p.m. (9 ET/9 PT).
In addition, the charismatic and dynamic "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero returns to IMPACT WRESTLING tonight joining Josh Mathews with lively commentary in the announce booth."
