WWE Main Event Results (6/6): Kevin Owens NXT Title Open Challenge, Stardust In Action, More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc's coverage of WWE Main Event! Today we'll see an NXT Title Open Challenge from Kevin Owens.

Zack Ryder vs. Adam Rose (w/ Rosa Mendes)

Jimmy Uso is on commentary again as Ryder gets a two count off of a flapjack. Rose quickly turns the tides and tosses Ryder out of the ring before giving Rosa eskimo kisses. He then delivers an awesome spinebuster for two, but eats a facebuster.

Ryder fights Rose off with a back elbow, clothesline, dropkick and forearm in the corner. Rose hides behind Rosa and boots Ryder on his way back in. He hits the Party Foul for the win.

Winner: Adam Rose via pinfall

- The announcers mention that we'll get an NXT Title open challenge today.

Emma & Layla vs. Naomi & Tamina

I don't know who the heels are here, and I don't think WWE cares. Emma locks on the Tarantula and hits a dropkick before she and Layla hit in-stereo suicide dives on the opponents. Tamina gets the tag but Layla beats her up for a solid minute until a Samoan Drop.

Naomi gets the tag and hits Layla with a nice seated clothesline. Emma accidentally distracts the ref, which allows Tamina to pop in and get a superkick while Naomi pins Layla.

Winners: Tamina & Naomi via pinfall (Queen's Crossbow)

- Stardust is backstage and cuts a promo on Fanadango.

Stardust vs. Fandango

Fandango hits a lot of chops, but gets knocked outside by Stardust. Huge "Cody" chants from the crowd as Stardust brings him back inside and works him over. A couple of reversals leads to the Cross Rhodes (now known as the Queen's Crossbow) for the win.

Winner: Stardust via pinfall (Queen's Crossbow)

Stardust harasses Uso at ringside after the match.

- Kevin Owens comes outside and says he's here to stay and makes his NXT Title open challenge. Heath Slater comes out and says Cena has been dodging him for months because of Owens, so he accepts.

The two get in-ring intros, which I found hilarious. Slater lands a heel kick and a neckbreaker that only gets a one count. Owens answers with a superkick and the cannonball before the pop-up powerbomb. See ya, Heath.

Winner: Kevin Owens via pinfall (pop-up powerbomb) to retain the NXT Championship

Owens admires his work as the show ends.
