WWE Tough Enough Viewership Is In, Number Way Down From Last Season
The much-hyped new season of WWE Tough Enough garnered 1.209 million viewers for its premiere last night, according to ShowBuzz Daily.
The number is down 63% from the debut of the fifth season of the series, which was hosted by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and garnered a 2.6 rating and 3.3 million viewers in April 2011. However, it should be noted that the fifth season premiered after the post WrestleMania XXVII episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, which did a 3.5 rating and averaged 5.418 million viewers. After the fifth season premiere, the show would usually hover around 2.4 million – 2.8 million viewers.
