Conor McGregor Says He'd Dismantle Floyd Mayweather, Another UFC Title Fight Delayed, UFC Embedded

- UFC has released episode 4 of UFC 189 Embedded. This is by far the earliest they've ever started the series, and will probably end up having upwards of 10 episodes by the time the show rolls around next weekend. Episode 4 features all four title challengers preparing for fight week.

- Although not scheduled, it appears as if yet another UFC Championship fight will be delayed due to injury. UFC originally hoped to have Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier meet opponent Alexander Gustafsson in September.

MMA Junkie reported that a source informed them that an undisclosed injury that would delay the planned fight between Cormier and Gustafsson. While the details of the injury weren't revealed, it was also said that Cormier would be good to fight as early as October.

- UFC 189 headliner Conor McGregor appeared on TBS' Conan last week, and spoke to host Conan O'Brien about his fighting career. During the interview McGregor also said Jose Aldo isn't fighting despite "being cleared by a gynecologist."

Conan also brought up boxer Floyd Mayweather, who boxes in the same weight class that McGregor fights.

"Who wouldn't want to dance around the ring for $180 million? But I certainly know he wouldn't want to step into my world. But I would certainly box him if the opportunity arose. There are many forms of fighting that can beat him, and if we were to get it on, I would dismantle him also," McGregor said.
