More On Vince McMahon And WWE Tough Enough, JR Confirms NXT Takeover Report, ZZ Flirts With Amanda

- In this WWE Tough Enough digital extra, ZZ tends to Amanda's scrapes and flirts around with her.

- We noted before via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that ticket sales for Ring of Honor and the Jim Ross "Ringside" shows in New York City during SummerSlam slowed down once WWE announced the NXT "Takeover: Brooklyn" event that will go head-to-head. JR confirmed this in his latest blog:

"Our tickets for the Gramercy Theater RINGSIDE Show were selling wonderfully until WWE booked their NXT spectacular on the same night, Saturday August 22, in Brooklyn. It was a smart booking for WWE as the NXT show is very close to selling out and had only 1500 tickets left a few days ago. I'm hopeful that they do sell out and those that were on the fence or did not get a NXT ticket will consider coming to my show. About 40 VIP meet/greet/photo op tickets remain for NYC and general admission tickets are still available at only $25 at ticketmaster.com and the Gramercy Theatre box office. My pals from Busted Open Radio will MC this my only NYC date of the year. A lucky attendee oat our Gramercy Show will win two, free Summer Slam Tickets which will be the next day."

- Yesterday we reported that Vince McMahon was skipping weekly WWE SmackDown tapings so he can be in Orlando to oversee Tough Enough filming because the show is a top priority for WWE and the USA Network right now. Ric Flair indicated on one of his recent podcasts that Vince is being more "hands-on" with Tough Enough due to a drop in ratings for the show, perhaps the decline from the last season.
