Renee Young Recalls Celebrity Hitting On Her

WWE interviewer Renee Young has built quite a following due to her WWE work, reportedly garnering the interest of many major stations. However, on a recent episode of Talk is Jericho, Young recalled garnering a Canadian celebrity's interest when she was kicking off her broadcasting career.

Young interviewed Kids in the Hall cast member Dave Foley, and saw him later on and had a drink with him. Later, Foley asked Young to have coffee with him.

"My naive, dumb 19-year old mind is like 'this is great, he must think I'm the next Gilda Radner,'" Young said with a laugh. "He starts telling me about his divorce and all of these weird stories that a kid doesn't need to know."

Young elaborated on the situation, saying that a meeting for coffee ended up getting her a lot more than she bargained for.

"I was so stupid. I thought there's no way this old man wants anything to do with young me," Renee said. "He wanted me to come down and see Day of The Dead, the live comedy show they were doing. Then he gave me this really awkward, long hug goodbye. That's when I was finally like red alert. As I get in my car to go back to Ajax, I sent him a text like 'Mr. Foley, I think you have the wrong idea.'"
