Ring Of Honor TV Recap (7/27): 6-Way Match, Kingdom In Action, Bobby Fish Vs. ACH, Steve Corino
Welcome to Wrestling Inc's coverage of Ring of Honor television. Today we'll see Kingdom, ACH, Moose, Bobby Fish, Cheeseburger and Dalton Castle all in action.
Kingdom (w/ Maria) vs. Corey Hollis & Jonathan Gresham
Kingdom starts off by faking handshakes to superkick Hollis & Gresham as the crowd starts a huge "let's go jobbers" chant. Kindom beats down the two all around the ring. Gresham fights back and causes Taven to kick Bennett, and get the hot tag to Hollis. After a brief comeback, Kingdom hits Hail Mary for the win.
Winners: Kingdom via pinfall (Hail Mary)
- We see an ad for All-Star Extravangza.
Caprice Coleman vs. Cheeseburger vs. Brutal Bob Evans vs. Moose vs. Moose (w/ Stokely Hathaway) vs. Silas Young vs. Dalton Castle (w/ His Boys)
Brutal Bob avoids Cheesebuger by tagging out to Silas Young. Young quickly controls Cheeseburger with a knuckle lock until Coleman comes in and dropkicks him. After a quick commercial, we see Young and Castle going at it, with Young dominating until Castle's boys hit the apron and get knocked off by Young.
Moose gets tagged in and cleans house, as he destroys Evans and Young. He press slams Cheesebuger onto Evans, then Coleman follows outside with a moonsault. Young gets dropkicked to the outside by Moose, who then does a flip dive onto everyone. Back in the ring, everyone hits signature strikes until Castle impressively deadlift German suplexes Moose. Moose spears Evans for the win.
Winner: Moose via pinfall (Spear)
- Decade is in the ring and BJ Whitmer is getting major heat. He criticizes Moose, Steve Corino, War Machine, pretty much everyone. He says he used to look at Colby Corino as his little brother, but now says he looks at him like a son. He hopes Colby looks at him as the father he never had. He says as a gift, he's booked Colby in a gauntlet match. He brings four huge guys out and Steve Corino steps in, and Whitmer tries to make it worse by talking about his wife and baby son. Nigel McGuinness breaks them up.
ACH vs. Bobby Fish
Corino is now off of commentary, replaced by Nigel McGuinness. ACH and Fish start off slow, until ACH takes control with a big dropkick. ACH sends Fish outside, but comes up empty on a slingshot attempt as we go to our final commercial break of the episode.
We come back to see ACH able to avoid the Fish Hook with a reverse enziguri and a clothesline. Fish comes back with a big knee and an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles, and works over ACH's leg over. Fish gets kicked to the outside, and eats a big Fosbury Flop from ACH.
Back inside, Fish gets his knees up on a 450 attempt from ACH, and applies the Fish Hook. ACH almost gets Fish's shoulders on the mat, but Fish lets the hold go and gets hiptossed into the buckles. Super Falcon Arrow from Fish gets the pin.
Winner: Bobby Fish via pinfall (Super Falcon Arrow)
