Stone Cold Steve Austin Tells Unreal Story About Having To Call 911 Over A Fall Recently

Shortly after many were speculating if Stone Cold Steve Austin could potentially work a WrestleMania 32 match with Brock Lesnar, he told an unbelievable story on his Unleashed podcast that didn't bode well for those hopes.

On the June 18 edition of his podcast, Austin said he had a story that would "bring a tear to a glass eye, whether it was from laughing or crying." His story more than lived up to the hype, and involved a bath scrubber, and Iphone, Michael Jackson, and a fire department.

Austin said he was in his bathroom in his trailer while in town to film the next season of Broken Skull Ranch. He noted that he was preparing to shower and listening to the Michael Jackson on Pandora radio. While in the shower he had a great idea to take 3 moonwalk steps across the tub. "It was probably two, two and a half moonwalk steps from corner to corner, but I'm not a great moonwalker," Austin said.

The moonwalk was unsuccessful, and Austin slipped, tangling his legs and pinning his shoulder underneath him. He was in pain and wedged in the shower, unable to move. Because of this he had to call his wife, and later emergency services because he couldn't get himself up. Initially he didn't want to give his name, as he didn't want the embarrassing situation to get a lot of publicity.

Firefighters were sent to help Austin up, but he said that wasn't the only accident that happened. In the midst of the fall, he claims a bath scrubber on a stick got lodged in a sensitive area and had to be removed. He mentioned several times that the story was a "shoot," but mentioned he could be ribbing minor details. Austin has been known to embellish for the entertainment of his listeners. Either way, to listen to the full story, check out his June 18th edition of the Steve Austin Show at this link.

Update 7/2 11:55 PM ET: Austin admitted on a later podcast that the whole story was a rib.
