TNA Impact Wrestling And ROH On Destination America Both See Big Declines In Viewership
After both TNA and ROH hit their best viewership numbers for Destination America on Wednesday nights last week, both companies saw big declines for last night's episodes.
Last night's episode of TNA Impact Wrestling at 9pm ET on Destination America, which featured EC3 defeating Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, drew 267,000 viewers, a 28% drop from last week's 369,000 viewers. It was the lowest viewership for a first-run Impact since moving to Wednesday nights. The replay at midnight drew only 51,000 viewers, bringing their total audience to 318,000 viewers, a 29% drop from last week's 451,000 viewers. It is also the lowest total viewership for the show since moving to Wednesday nights.
Ring of Honor on Destination America, which is a replay of the episode that aired earlier in the week on Sinclair, drew 157,000 viewers in the 8pm EST timeslot, a 15% decrease from last week's 185,000 viewers. The 11pm ET replay after TNA Impact Wrestling averaged 81,000 viewers, bringing the total for this week to 238,000 viewers – down 28% from last week's total of 330,000 viewers. As with TNA, it was their lowest audience for the first-run airing, the replay and for the total audience since they debuted on Destination America last month.
