LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS SHORTLY

We get a rundown of tonight's Impact

Austin Aries comes out wearing a suit. He looks extremely annoyed. Well, he is in TNA so that's understandable. Aries says he is is mad at not getting a chance for the TNA World Championship. He insults Bully Ray for not gibing him a chance at the title. Out comes Bully Ray. Ray says he will gave Aries a shot at the X division, but Aries isn't interested because he's held it so many times before. He says it is a belt for guys who aren't in the main event scene. Spud comes out. Spud says Aries hurt his feelings with his last remark and Aries mockingly apologizes. Ray says that Aries will fight Spud next week for the 'Rockstar' nickname. If he wins, he gets the Rockstar name. But if Aries loses he's gone from the company entirely. What a silly thing to fight over. I mean, come on. Who cares? Bully is mad at Aries for not being more respectful of a hard-working kid like Spud. Aries suckers punches Spud before walking out laughing.

Josh and Pope hype up Jeff Jarrett's HOF induction. We see Jaff and Karen backstage at Impact.

Melendez talks to Kurt Angle backstage. Angle thanks him for coming to his aid last week. Melendez says he needs to be able to beat Young before he can go any further in the wrestling business. Angle says he understands and urges him to take the fight to Young.

We learn that Tigre Uno has more to say to Donald Trump. They know he's not watching, right?

Eric Young vs. Chris Melendez

Young beat Melendez again with the piledriver. So much for Melendez going to the next stage of his career. Decent enough match and Melendez was allowed some offense early on, but other than this, this felt mostly like time-filler. Kurt came in to to help Melendez but Young left right away.

Winner: Eric Young

Brooke vs Marti Belle is hyped up by Josh and Pope on commentary.

Brooke vs. Marti Belle

Brooke is going after the dollhouse before the match has even started. She sends Jade right into the steel steps and brawls with Marti when Taryn hits her from behind with a cheap shot. Once they're in the ring, Marti goes for the pin but only gets a two. Brooke hits a neckbreaker but Marti continues to dominate her. Brooke eventually starts fighting back but Taryn continues to interfere, hitting her from behind. The Dollhouse continue to cheat to have the advantage until Gail Kim and her magic powers suddenly makes the lights go out. When they come back on Brooke hits the Buttface Maker on the distracted Marti for the win.

Winner: Brooke

Taryn is screaming about Gail's interference and Marti's loss. Commercial break.

Tigre Uno cuts a promo on Trump. Another one. He says Trump isn't here tonight. He calls Trump a coward.

Ethan Carter is here tonight. He says he's not afraid of Matt Hardy or the stipulation he picks. After the break, he comes down and buries Matt and Jeff.

Jeff Hardy comes out to the ring and talks about his recovery from his motorcycle accident. He says sitting at home watching Cater win the belt made him feel sick. He calls Carter too confident and arrogant. Hardy says he's working his way back to the ring. "Creatures, I am feeling the healing." That's nice. He says that he'll be the next world champion. Jeff tells the fans that his brother Matt will win the belt from EC3 next week.

Matt Hardy appears and announces his title match against Ethan Carter will have Full Metal Mayhem stipulation. He pulls out various weapons like the ladder from underneath the ring. Oh, and: Tyrus is not allowed at ringside, either.

The announcers hype the mixed gender tag team match next. We get a short Mickie and Magnus interview. Magnus says the world has been waiting for him and Mickie to team up in a match in TNA. A HOF video airs.

James Storm and Serena Deeb vs. Magnus and Mickie James

Mickie practically races to the ring with Magnus behind her. Magnus and Storm start things out with vicious punches and eye pokes. Serena attacks Magnus with cheapshots in the corner. Storm hits Magnus with a kick to the head and a kneedrop before putting him in a chinlock as we head to commercial. When we come back Mickie is going after Serena and James Storm is still fighting Magnus. The girls get tagged in and Mickie brawls with Serena. Storm talks trash to her and she slaps him across the face. Serena gutbusters Mickie. Serena calls down Khoya to the ring and he tries to hit Magnus with the stick but gets Storm in the gut instead. Mickie manages to hit the DDT on Serena for the win.

Winner: Mickie James and Magnus.

Mike Tenay interviews Ken Anderson. Anderson says he is not afraid to go the dark side to defeat Bram. Bram tells Anderson to kiss his kids goodbye before next week. The two are officially set to clash at No Surrender.

Gail Kim vs the Dollhouse is next week. So is Eli vs. Drew Galloway. That tremendous Jeff Jarrett video airs again. Jeff is getting inducted now...not at Bound for Glory, interestingly enough.

Tenay is out to introduce Dixie Carter. She comes out to the ring and starts talking about how she first met Jeff Jarrett. They were neighbors in an apartment complex. Dixie says without Jeff, TNA wouldn't exist. Jeff and Karen come out. He promises to keep it short. He proceeds to thank everyone ever, from Bob and Janice Carter to the Ra Ka King crew, and even mentions big name WWE stars like Foley, Nash and Booker T. He thanks his dad too and mentions they've reconciled after years of not talking. This is truly touching note to end the show on. Good segment.
