WWE NXT Live Event Results From Orlando (7/10): NXT Title Match, Tough Enough Crew, Sawft Talk, More
- Thanks to Tara for the following WWE NXT live event results from Friday night's show in Orlando:
* The DX music opened the show and Billy Gunn came out to a big pop before introducing Lita. They then brought out the WWE Tough Enough competitors, who were well received and greeted fans at ringside. They watched the rest of the show from ringside
* Uhaa Nation defeated Axel Tischer with a military press and standing moonsault. Tye Dillinger came out and gave the match a 9
* Dana Brooke defeated Cassie, who looked really good in the ring
* Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out for their brand new talk show segment – Sawft Talk. The ring was set up with leopard print and had their cheap Jersey feel. Their guest was Preston Cunningham Jr. and there was some pretty good comedy lined here. Cunningham bragged about how his dad bought him the best training and paid for tonight's show to happen until Enzo smacked him and Cass sent him fleeing after a big boot.
* Bull Dempsey defeated Marcus Louis. The "fat guy" storyline with Dempsey is really old but they're obviously going forward with it. Bull had to stop and catch his breath a few times and "fell out" at one point. Dillinger gave the match a 5
* Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder defeated The Mechanics in a solid back & forth tag team bout. The Hype Bros. did their double team Rough Ryder for the win
* NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks comes out to the ring for a promo and brags about being better than all the other Divas. Carmella comes out and interrupts, leading to a match. Sasha won with the Bank Statement in another very good NXT Divas match
* Tyler Breeze defeated Tye Dillinger with a Beauty Shot
* The Vaudevillians defeated Blake & Murphy and Chad Gable & Jason Jordan in a non-title match. The NXT tag division is really good these days and this match proved why, it could have main evented. Simon Gotch and Aiden English got the win after pinning Blake
* Finn Balor defeated Baron Corbin to retain the NXT Title. Corbin attacked Finn before the match and had the upperhand for a good part of it. Finn got the win with a Coup De Grace and was over big with the crowd. It was good to see him back in Orlando with the title
