Batista Takes Shot At WWE On Twitter, Update On His Upcoming Schedule

Former WWE Champion and movie star Batista gained some attention on Twitter Sunday night during Summerslam, when he took a bit of a shot at WWE and their creative direction.

A WWE parody Twitter account posted that they fear the company would book Sheamus and Batista to form a new Legion of Doom tag team. Batista responded, saying they'd probably get jobbed to everyone, but only after Stephanie McMahon came and slapped them around. This could be referring to both Big Show and Kane getting slapped by Stephanie during The Authority angle.

Batista has been very outspoken about WWE's storylines, even saying this year that if he returned to the company, it could be in a Chris Jericho role where he only works live events. Batista hasn't appeared on WWE TV since June 2014, following Evolution's loss to the Shield.

Despite speaking out, Batista has still pushed his WWE related items, including his merchandise, and his appearance in the WWE Immortals game.

The former WWE Champion has a busy schedule coming up, so it's unlikely a WWE return will be happening soon. Batista will appear in the films L.A. Slasher, James Bond Film Spectre, Bus 657 with Robert De Niro, Kickboxer: Vengeance, and has also signed on for Warrior's Gate.
