Cyborg On Why Ronda Rousey Should Move Up To Fight Her, CM Punk, Champion Stripped Of Title

- Invicta FC 145-pound champion Cris "Cyborg" Justino appeared on ESPN's SportsCenter today to talk a potential fight with UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey. Fans have been clamoring for a fight between the two women for years, however Cyborg has repeatedly stated that she could not make 135 pounds, and has been asking for a catchweight bout. UFC President Dana White recently stated that a Rousey – Cyborg superfight would do 2.5 million buys. Cyborg stated on SportsCenter that Rousey should move up a weight class now that Rousey has effectively cleaned out her division.

"When the champ cleans the division out, they go up. I'm the champion at 145," Cyborg said of Rousey's dominant 135-pound run. "If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. (I'm ready) tomorrow. I'll fight."

The SportsCenter anchors pretty much set Cyborg up to lay down a challenge at 140 pounds, and mentioned that she had been subjected to the same drug testing as Rousey since signing a UFC contract.

- World Series of Fighting has stripped Rousimar Palhares of the company's welterweight championship and suspended him indefinitely after holding on to a double wristlock/kimura for too long during his fight with Jake Shields. Palhares has done this numerous times, and was actually fired from the UFC for the same offense. Palhares' management hopes to get him out of his WSOF contract.
