Daniel Bryan Talks CM Punk, Possibly Wrestling Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Renaming His Finisher, More

We noted that Daniel Bryan may have upset WWE brass with some comments he made at his Wizard World Chicago appearance yesterday. We now have a recap of his Q&A session, thanks to Wrestling Inc reader James Martin.

* Bryan says that he would most like to wrestle Brock Lesnar, if the WWE ever clears him, that is.

* His parents were his biggest inspirations growing up, and he remembers the sacrifices they made for him.

* He had pitched the idea of calling his running knee The Crusher, as a tribute to the late Connor "The Crusher" Michalek. Knee Plus was another option he'd considered, but as of now, the move has no name.

* Bryan talked about the toll that his father's death took on him emotionally. He said that even football season was hard for him because they would talk about the Seattle Seahawks a lot.

* He is most proud of his match with KENTA (Hideo Itami in NXT) on the independent circuit.

* He said that it upsets him and makes him sad that someone like CM Punk who once had so much passion for professional wrestling no longer does. He said that he thinks a Punk vs. Bryan WrestleMania match could have been similar to Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart.

* He would love to have a match with Kurt Angle. He said that with Angle not being in WWE and WWE not clearing him to compete, he actually may get to wrestle Angle.

* He says that Tough Enough's ZZ has the potential to be good if he puts his mind to it. He also put over ZZ's personality.

* He had high praise for Samoa Joe and said it was about time that WWE signed him.

* Bryan has no clue if he will wrestle for WWE again.

* He says the issue he's out with is a concussion that stems from a match in April, but was cleared by a doctor who worked for the Super Bowl.

* Bryan says he could work this weekend's SummerSlam if they wanted him to, but WWE won't clear him.
