Former WWE Star Says Chyna Confronted Triple H At "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's Funeral

It was reported Wednesday in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Triple H and Chyna were among those in attendance at the funeral of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper on Tuesday in Portland, Oregon. It was noted that the one-time couple were in the same room together for about an hour and never spoke. Sean Waltman, however, says that Chyna did approach Triple H at the service.

Shortly after the report surfaced, a fan wrote to the former WWE Superstar on Twitter, "chyna at roddy pipers funeral? Did she ever even work with him? Reeks of opportunism to be around hhh. He responded, "She may have met him a few times & you're exactly right. She bum rushed Hunter & said 'Sorry for Everything!" Pathetic."

He continued, "I wasnt going to mention Chyna crashing Roddy's funeral, but I guess ppl already know. 'Sorry for everything'? I thought she was the victim." He later deleted that tweet apparently for suggesting that she wasn't invited to the funeral, writing:

Waltman claims Chyna was close to be ejected from the service by security for what she had said about Triple H in the past.

Earlier this year, Chyna accused Triple H of physically abusing her during their romantic relationship over a decade ago. During an interview with Vince Russo in February, Chyna said, "That's great, but don't punch girls, and you don't treat them like that, and ruin their entire career and life, and never speak another word to them."

When asked by Russo to elaborate, she continued, "I think Hunter's plan was to get me to leave the relationship first. That way he could start dating Stephanie and everything would be cool. We got into a heated argument. We were not getting along. I told him 'I know something's going on; don't tell me something's not going on.' He swiped my hand, I swiped his hand, and then he hit me. And that's a deal-breaker for me. The relationship is now over. After that I know that he was crying, and I know that he felt bad that he hit me. I was just in shock; it felt like a Jerry Springer moment, it was very surreal. I just couldn't believe that he hit me."

Chyna repeated her claim in multiple interviews, including the Opie with Jim Norton talk radio show in June. Her remarks on the show led Triple H to release a statement through his publicity manager: "The false statements and reckless allegations Joan Laurer (aka Chyna) continues to make about a physical dispute are a complete fabrication. As I've said in the past, while Joan has had significant struggles in life, this does not justify making such claims."

Since then, Chyna has attempted to get in contact with WWE officials through various means in an attempt to bury the hatchet, but the company has shown no interest in communicating with her. Last week, she released this video on YouTube of her manager calling WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut seeking royalties, which ends with a secretary telling him she was instructed not to pass along any calls in regards to her.

Chyna was broken up over Piper's death. A few days after his passing, she released this emotional video of herself discussing her personal interactions with him.
