Impact Wrestling Viewership Increases With GFW War, Ring Of Honor Remains Consistent
The 8/19 edition of Impact Wrestling saw a significant increase in viewership this week, with the big Champion vs. Champion main event between TNA's Ethan Carter III and GFW's PJ Black (aka Justin Gabriel).
The first airing at 9PM ET saw 323,000 people tuning in, which is up 19.6%. The replay tacked on another 73,000 for a total of 396,000 viewers on Wednesday night, which is up an even 20% and the best number of August 2015 for TNA.
Meanwhile, Ring of Honor's numbers stayed fairly consistent from last week, dropping a little over 2% to 145,000 viewers. The show has seen a steady, albeit subtle decline over the last four weeks, since Destination America dropped its second hour replay.
