Kurt Angle Return Update, More TNA TV Tapings?, Rockstar Spud On Fans Wanting TNA Out Of Business
- TNA uploaded the Rockstar Spud vs. Great Sanada match from Xplosion, which you can watch in the video above.
- Speaking of Spud, he was interviewed for August's issue of Total Wrestling Magazine, is available now to download on for just £3 from at this link or via Google Play and the App Store. During the interview, Spud talked about TNA's detractors.
"I don't understand it, why do they want a company to go out of business? Everyone has an opinion, it's a free country, people can say what they want, within reason," Spud said. "When you watch a movie, do you care about what happened behind the scenes? Did you care that the main actor had a falling out with the make up lady? No. We are in the same business, we are both making and telling stories, but for some reason people find it more interesting behind the scenes. They say wrestling is fake but the Walking Dead is real? Would you care if there was politics behind the scenes?"
- As noted, Kurt Angle underwent successful surgery last month to have a benign tumor removed from his neck. Dave Meltzer noted in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Angle's recovery is going a little slower than he expected, and he should be back "in some form" in October.
