Possible "Botch" During Tonight's NXT Divas 4-Way Affects Match Outcome

While we cannot yet confirm the accuracy of these reports, there is a lot of chatter coming out of social media tonight that the NXT Divas may have "botched" the finish of a match being recorded prior to NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

The match – a four-way between Charlotte, Dana Brooke, Emma and Becky Lynch – ended "awkwardly" after Emma pinned Becky Lynch. As we noted in our complete coverage of tonight's NXT television tapings, it appeared that Lynch didn't get her shoulders up in time, and it took about four seconds after the referee counted the three to actually ring the bell. Everyone involved in the finish was said to look very confused.

Traditionally, in the event of mistake being made at a TV taping, the wrestlers would just re-do the spot and the "botch" would be fixed in post-production. But given the taping rolled right into the live NXT Takoever special, there obviously wasn't time.
