Roddy Piper's Past Prophetic Comments About His Mortality, Piper "Bloodstained Memoirs" Scene, More
- David Sinnott – who produced the Bloodstained Memoirs professional wrestling documentary – released Piper's entire scene from the movie for free, which you can watch in the video above. Sinnott noted that he has no desire to profit from Piper's death.
"I've decided to upload his entire scene from Bloodstained Memoirs for everybody to enjoy for free," Sinnott said. "Sales of related products tend to rise following the passing of a celebrity and I have no desire to profiteer from this awful news. Perhaps just do me a favour and give a little something to your favorite charity in return for this... just tell somebody close to you that you love them. As we are too often reminded, tomorrow is never a guarantee. I had the pleasure of meeting Piper's daughter at this film shoot and I can't begin to imagine what she and her siblings are feeling right now. My thoughts go out to them."

- Wrestling Inc. reader Kenny passed along the clip below from the controversial episode of HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel in 2003, which looked at deaths in pro wrestling. Piper had just returned to WWE a few months earlier, and was critical of the business and how wrestlers were treated after their careers are over. He also talked about why he returned to the business.
"What would you have me do at 49?" Piper asked. "My pension plan I can't take out until I'm 65. I'm not going to make 65. Let's just face facts guys."
Piper was released from WWE shortly after the episode aired.
